About this role

Brunel have recently partnered with one of Australia’s leading EPCM delivery Service Partners to successfully recruit and place a suitably qualified Senior Project Engineer to support our Clients effective and professional Site based team.

  • ASAP Start FIFO 2:1 Roster
  • 6 - 9 Month Contract
  • Competitive Hourly Rate

Commercial Management support to Contract Management team to manage all contracts related to supply of track materials and track construction including;

  • Variation claims
  • Progress payment claims
  • Contract dispute and delay claims

Quality Management Support to site teams in ensuring QA compliance of material deliveries and track construction including;

  • Attending regular QA meetings
  • Reviewing QA records including NCR’s
  • Ensure testing of materials on site complies with the requirements
  • Answer Technical Queries form all suppliers and contractors with relation to track construction
  • Interface with Client Rail Engineering team to address compliance and quality issues
  • Conduct regular site visits to inspect quality of works and assist site teams with technical, commercial and quality issues
  • Review design drawings, specifications and scopes of work and recommend any changes or amendments
  • Attend regular commercial and progress meetings

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in Rail Infrastructure Engineering, Construction, Management, Delivery etc.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of rail track construction in the Pilbara region or similar
  • Strong rail design and construction technical knowledge
  • Demonstrated knowledge of contract commercial management
  • Demonstrated Project and Construction management experience
