Brunel are partnering with our client who are trailblazers in the renewable energy sector to source a number of Electricians for an 2-3 month urgent workscope.

In support of our Client's strong focus on green energy and their carbon neutrality targets, one of their key initiatives is a number of Green Fleet projects aiming to develop and test a range of technologies to power their mining fleet
These roles will be based at the Client's new Hazelmere R&D facility and the scope will be working on Batteries, Hydrogen Fuel Cells and Power Electronics
Key accountabilities will include:

  • Providing safe, effective and timely modifications and electrical maintenance to our mining equipment in association with Green Fleet projects
  • Diagnostics & fault finding
  • Workshop duties as required
  • Work in conjunction with other trade and engineering disciplines to achieve 100% schedule compliance.
  • Ensure all activities undertaken are carried out in accordance with company safety policy and procedures
  • To provide any continuous improvement suggestions and to operate in a cost-effective manner at all times

Requirements

Requirements

Qualifications and skills required:
  • Electrical trade qualification
  • Current WA 'A' class electrical workers licence
  • High voltage ticket desirable but not essential
  • High Voltage DC experience (Siemens sinamics equipment experience highly desirable)
  • Hazardous Areas Awareness Certificate desirable but not essential
  • Experience with panel building and wiring
  • Competent understanding of electrical schematics and isolations
  • Experience in computer-based maintenance systems - SAP (desirable)You will also be required to completed a pre-employment medical, D&A and have a clean police clearance.
