Administrative Assistant


About this role

Brunel have partnered with one of Australia’s leading EPCM delivery Service Partners to successfully recruit and place suitably qualified Administrative Assistant for a 12 month contract assignment, supporting their Perth-based team.

  • Provide administration support as required and ensure that information provided to individuals is accurate, timely and in accordance with policy and procedure.
  • Assist with expense claims and lodgements for Service Line Leads as required.
  • Arrange and make travel, vehicle and accommodation arrangements (mobilisation – domestic and international, business trips and site visits).
  • Effectively manage multiple shared inboxes and administration folder structures according to guidelines provided.
  • Arrange meetings/events, including organising equipment requirements, ordering of food and beverages/catering and clearing up space.
  • Assist with onboarding of new starters and demobilising staff including updating floorplans, email distribution lists and desk requirements.
  • Assist with facilities requirements including maintaining a tidy office, including cleaning and disposal, emptying dishwashers, cleaning fridges and benches, tidying meeting rooms. Servicing coffee machines and restocking tea and coffee supply etc.
  • Assist with sub-contractor procurement activities as required including setting up new suppliers, updating company insurance registers, filing related documentation and processing of invoices with Accounts Payable.
  • Provide customer service and ensure that information provided to clients is accurate, timely and in accordance with policy and procedure.


  • Previous experience in the relevant discipline in the same or similar industry, including previous administrative experience.
  • High level of computer proficiency in preparation of documents, presentations and spreadsheets using Microsoft Office software.
  • Experience in delivering high quality work in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Positive and proactive approach that easily adapts under challenging timeframes.
